Car Audit service
If I've already inspected a car for you and the seller has since carried out repairs, or you've simply been told "it's all sorted now", this is the visit that checks whether that's actually true.
This is a re-inspection, not a new full inspection. It focuses on the faults in your original report plus a safety overview. If you want the full 175+ point inspection repeated from scratch, book a standard inspection instead.
A repair I can't see is a repair I can't verify. I report what I can observe, measure and test on the day. I cannot confirm that a repair was carried out correctly, that the correct parts were used, or that it will last. Where no invoice or paperwork is provided, I can only tell you what the vehicle's present condition suggests.
Cleared fault codes take time to return. If a seller has erased stored codes, the vehicle's monitors may not have completed enough drive cycles for a fault to log again. A clean scan shortly after a code clear is not proof the fault is fixed, and I will say so in the report where I see evidence of this.
I inspect without dismantling. No component removal, no ramp unless one is available on site, and no work that risks damaging the vehicle. Some faults are only found by stripping parts down, which is outside the scope of this service.
The verdict may not change. You're paying for my time, my equipment and my honest professional opinion — not for a particular outcome. If the car is still a walk away, that's what the report will say, and the fee remains payable.
Point in time only. My findings describe the vehicle's condition on the day and at the mileage inspected. Condition can change, and faults can develop, at any time afterwards.
The decision is yours. My report is advice to help you decide. It is not a warranty, guarantee or insurance product of any kind, and I'm not liable for the outcome of your purchase.
Access and conditions. The visit depends on the seller granting reasonable access, and on safe working conditions. Inspections may be delayed or rescheduled in unsafe weather. If the vehicle is unavailable, inaccessible or misrepresented on arrival, a call-out fee applies.
